Critical Reflection

  Module: In the beginning of the module, I mentioned one main communication weakness that I wanted to work on which was my public speaking abilities in that I speak too fast when I am nervous. I wanted to work on this skill because I understand how important it is in the real world from organizing and expressing my ideas in front of people to the frequent conversations we have with others and how they can positively or negatively affect the overall message that I am trying to convey. This module has helped me to improve on my communication skills and build my confidence. All the times Prof Brad called upon me to read in-front of the whole class really helps. However, although I found that I have improved by a lot since the last presentation I did for another module, when it came to the oral presentation, my nerves still got the better of me and I still was not able present my topic as well as I had hoped.
